The Mangus House was built in the 1870’s but provides the accommodations of the 21st century. It's perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy overnight with the family in the mountains.
Located half way between Lexington and Staunton, Virginia, you can do what your heart desires. From hiking, mountain biking, swimming, shopping to just reading and relaxing, there are endless possibilities!
In the mornings, Brenda will entice you with a delicious home-cooked breakfast to get your day started off right.
Nestled on the South River, The Mangus House offers the scenic views of the Blue Ridge from the back porch where you can sit in the evening and listen to the charming rings of church bells and soak in the country air.
Leave the suit and tie at home, pack your favorite pair of jeans and your sense of humor and come relax with us. Here you can be assured that your boss will not be able to reach you on your cell phone or nextel. You are officially on vacation!
